Sir Thomas More was the first to coin the word Utopia, he derived this transliteration from the Greek phrase 'ou topos' which directly translates to the term 'no place.' Since the word's very inception, it has been associated with impracticality and imagination. Vanishingly few facts trouble me more than this one. I believe one of the reasons we are put on this Earth is to leave it better than how we found it, and if one believes in the impossibility of a perfect society then it follows that there is an upper limit to society's progress.
